DynaSuite Help
Answers grouped by what you are doing. Every screen has a ? button that opens this guide at the matching topic. What you see in the app depends on the roles on your account — the sections below follow the same split.
Getting started
How do I sign in, and what will I see?
Everyone uses one account at app.dynascore.me. The menu on the left adapts
to the roles on your account: a shooter sees Upcoming Matches, My Registrations and My Results;
a range officer also sees Open Assignments and Workcards; a match admin also sees My Matches;
a site admin sees the Site Admin tools.
Your roles show as badges under My Profile → Personal. If a role you expect is missing, it has to be granted — range-officer access is added when you sign up to officiate, and match-organizer access needs admin approval.
How do I become a match organizer?
Request match-organizer status when you sign up (or ask an administrator). After you verify your email, your request appears in the site admin's Approvals queue. Once approved you gain Match Admin permissions and the My Matches tools appear. Until then your profile shows “Match Organizer status requested — awaiting approval.”
Register for a match
How do I register for a match?
Open Upcoming Matches. It lists every match currently open for registration. Click Register on the one you want, then pick your division, power factor and (optionally) a category, and confirm.
If you set registration defaults in your profile, the division, category and power factor are pre-filled for you — you can still change them per match. Shooters never pay a registration fee to DynaScore.
Why is my division already filled in?
Those come from My Profile → Defaults, where you can save a usual division/category/power factor for Handgun and for Rifle/PCC. When a match offers that division, the form pre-selects it. If the match doesn't offer it, the field is left blank for you to choose.
My registrations & squads
Where do I see the matches I signed up for?
My Registrations shows every match you're entered in, with your division, power factor and squad. Click a match to see the read-only squad listing.
How do I pick or change my squad?
While registration is open, each match card has a Pick squad /
Change squad button. It shows every squad with its scheduled day/time and how
full it is (for example 8/12). Full squads are greyed out. Pick one and your start
time updates.
When does my start time appear?
Your start — day, date, time and starting range — is taken from your squad's first main-match schedule entry. It appears once you've picked a squad and the organizer has generated the schedule. Before then it shows “Start time not scheduled yet.”
My results
Where do I find my scores and statistics?
My Results collects your finishes across matches — overall placing, division results and lifetime statistics. Results become visible once a match's results are imported and processed.
If a match you shot isn't showing, its results may not be uploaded yet, or the entry may not be linked to your account — check that your name/IPSC details in your profile match the result file.
Upload results
How do I upload a match's result files?
Open Upload Results and fill in the match details: name, level, discipline, date, and tick every division that appears in the file. Then attach all three result exports from your scoring system (ESS, WinMSS or PractiScore):
- Overall / match results
- Stage results
- Category results
Accepted formats are HTML and PDF. Click Import results and the pipeline runs: Upload → Parse → Check → Clean → Result.
What happens after I upload?
Clean imports with no issues go straight into the database and are live immediately. Anything questionable is parsed into staging and held for review — an admin confirms it before it goes live. A file that can't be read as a valid export is rejected and nothing is imported. Warnings are listed on screen with the batch number, and you can jump to the review queue.
Find matches to officiate
How do I sign up to officiate a match?
Open Assignments lists matches that still need range officers (and any you've already joined). Each card shows how many more ROs are needed, e.g. “Needs 3 more ROs (5/8 filled).” Click Sign up to officiate to join that match's RO pool. You can Withdraw again while you're not yet assigned to shifts.
Signing up adds you to the pool; the organizer then assigns you to shifts, or you self-pick open shifts in My RO Assignments.
Pick RO shifts
How do I claim my shifts?
In My RO Assignments, each match you joined has a shift picker. Choose a day, a half (AM, PM, or Full day) and a range, then Claim shift. Only ranges with room in the chosen slot are offered; picking Full day claims both AM and PM at once.
Claimed shifts appear as green chips. Use the × on a chip to drop a shift. Withdraw leaves the match entirely and drops all your shifts for it.
Workcards & RO points
What is a workcard and how do I earn RO points?
A workcard is generated from the shifts you worked at a match. Once the match admin approves it, it counts toward your RO points: one point per match level (LV1 = 1, up to LV5 = 5). Pending workcards are listed but score 0 until approved.
The page totals your approved matches and points, grouped by year. Print points summary produces a single printable report of all your matches with per-year subtotals and a grand total.
My matches
How do I create and run a match?
My Matches is your organizer home: create a match, then open it to set it up — stages, ranges, squads, schedule, registration and range-officer needs — and run it on match day. The match level you can create depends on your subscription (see Subscription).
Open a match to reach its detail view, where the setup steps, schedule generation and match-day controls live.
Data uploads & review
What is the review queue?
When an uploaded result file has issues the importer can't safely auto-resolve, it lands in the review queue instead of going live. Open the batch, look at the parsed result and the warnings, and confirm it to promote it into the database or reject it. Clean uploads skip this and go straight in.
Approve workcards
How do I approve range officers' workcards?
Approve WorkCards lists the workcards generated for your match from the shifts ROs worked. Approving a workcard credits that RO their points for the match (one per level). Until you approve, the workcard stays pending and scores nothing.
Subscription & billing
What plans are there and what do they cost?
Match organizers pay per year; shooters never pay. Plans: Free (Level I) runs small Level I matches with a quota; Standard (Level II) and Premium (Level III) are annual; there's also a one-off single Level III match credit with no annual commitment. The exact prices are shown live on the Subscription page.
How do I upgrade or cancel?
On Subscription, pick a tier and check out through PayPal; your plan updates within a few seconds of PayPal confirming. To stop a subscription, use Cancel subscription — it won't renew, but you keep full access until the end of the period you've already paid for.
Match devices
How do I connect scoring tablets to my match?
Match Devices shows the scoring devices connected to your match. Get the scoring app from Download Scoring App (an APK for tablets), then connect each tablet to your match; connected devices and their status appear here.
Sponsors
How do sponsors work for my match?
Sponsors lets you manage the sponsor logos shown on your match's display screens. (Platform-wide “prime” sponsors that appear across the homepage and all displays are managed separately by the site admin.)
Approvals
How do I approve match-organizer signups?
Approvals lists people who requested match-organizer status and have verified their email. Each card shows their region, club and when they signed up. Approve grants Match Admin immediately; Reject asks for a reason (stored in the audit log; the user isn't notified) and blocks login. Range-officer signups approve automatically and don't appear here.
Users
What can I do on the Users screen?
Users is the account directory — find accounts, review their roles and status, and manage them. Approvals and rejections are recorded in the audit log.
All matches
How is All Matches different from My Matches?
All Matches is the platform-wide list of every match across all organizers, for oversight. My Matches (Match Admin) shows only the matches you own.
Shooters & ROs
Where do I see all shooter and RO accounts?
Registered Shooters and Range Officers are read directories of those accounts on the platform, for reference and oversight.
Live devices
What does Live Devices show?
Live Devices shows scoring devices currently connected across the platform — a system-wide view of what's live right now. (Organizers see only their own match's devices under Match Devices.)
Transactions & activations
Where do I see revenue and licences?
Transactions lists desktop and online revenue (subscriptions, single matches, DynaStage Desktop licences). DynaStage Activations shows desktop licence events. Both are site-admin reporting views.
Traffic
What is the Traffic screen?
Traffic reports landing-page views — cookieless visitor numbers for the public marketing site, for a sense of interest over time.
Prime sponsors
What are prime sponsors?
Prime Sponsors are platform-level sponsors shown on the homepage and across all display screens. They're managed here by the site admin, separately from the per-match sponsors an organizer sets on their own match.
Range library
What is the Range Library?
The Range Library is the shared catalogue of ranges/bays that matches draw on when they're set up, so range definitions are reused rather than re-entered each time.
Audit log
What's recorded in the audit log?
The Audit log records administrative actions — approvals, rejections and other sensitive changes — with who did what and when, for accountability.
My profile
What's on the Personal tab?
Your photo, name, contact details, club and IPSC details (alias, region, licence, RO number), plus the role badges on your account. Date of birth and gender are optional and used only to derive your competition category (Senior, Lady, etc.) and improve analysis of your imported results. Email changes aren't self-service yet.
What are Defaults for?
The Defaults tab stores your usual division, category and power factor for Handgun and for Rifle/PCC. They pre-fill the registration form so you don't re-pick them every time. Click Edit to set them; you can always override per match.
How do I change my password or close my account?
Account Settings has both. Password changes need your current password and a new one of at least 12 characters. Deleting your account deactivates it and removes your personal details; your competition results stay in the record books but revert to unclaimed. It requires your password and typing DELETE, and can't be undone.
